RCMP in Rocky Mountain House Have begun a homicide investigation after a body was found in a wooded area in Clearwater County.
Officers from the RCMP and Fish and Wildlife attended the scene, and confirmed that a person was found with injuries and recently died, Mounties said in a statement issued Sunday.
The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the death is being investigated as a homicide. Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has been deployed and has taken over the investigation.
